A miraculous combination of river stones in perfect harmony with the role stones of the hand basin, hand candlestick, bathtub stone, and front stone all working in unison. The hand basin is a deep black color with a sense of dignity. The other stones are light brown. When wet, the difference in color becomes even clearer, conveying the sense of unity of the Yakuseki and the gravity of the Tezui-bachi. The color and shape of the bowls evoke the fundamental idea of the chanoyu, the “mountain residence” in the city. A small corner of another world of healing will make the viewer feel relaxed. This is a Japanese art form that I would like to admire forever.
