Golden wheat fields spread out. The mountain range is called Kitayama (North Mountain) because it is located on the north side of Izumo. Beyond them is the Sea of Japan. Izumo is located at the northernmost tip of the Shimane Peninsula. Izumo-taisha Shrine and Hinomisaki Lighthouse are also connected to this landscape. It is just evening now. As the sun sets, the golden color becomes more and more brilliant. Izumo is famous for Japanese mythology. It is regarded as a divine place. It is even more divine to think that this scenery has continued for hundreds of years.
